«Social and Political Preferences of Georgian Internet Community»

Online sociological survey was conducted on December 24 – 31, 2007.
Total sampling volume counted 507 respondents.
The sampling represented active users of Georgian Internet community according to sex, age and education criteria.

• Because even now I would not like to answer this being afraid of pressing from the authorities
• Naturally it was a coup d'etat instead of revolution, seizing of power.  One who comes with a sword will be lost from it. Saakashvili is to finish his "term" in the same way.
• I think that "the revolution" hadn't justified our hopes. Today situation is better than that before the revolution, but it has no sense. They could have improved the country, but they don't want to (the government is concerned)
• Bribery is increasing in the country that causes the gangsterism growth, there is no freedom of speech, today the new staff don't know it's functions, the thing is, the economy of Georgia slides back...
• Because they deceive people
• Its tyranny, terror in the country!!!
• Default of promises. Nothing is made for the territorial integrity of the country, we have complicated attitudes with the northern neighbour. More than 50 per cent of the population are reduced to poverty
• It hadn't justified the hopes
• Plenty of bureaucracy
• Any revolution is harmful
• People are starving
• Their policy of employment, legal proceedings, primitive authoritarianism, internal and foreign policy, etc. give plenty of food for criticism
• We don't see the expected results
• Because after the revolution everybody sought in everything the easiest ways to get to the power
• Because it is against Russia, so Georgia is in the tight corner
• A farce
• Infringement of human rights
• It didn't result good for the country
• Because there are less results than promises, etc.
